Nuno Nobre

Gastronomy and Tourism Consultant, University Professor.

After having collaborated for more than 20 years with industries around the world and having worked as a consultant in multinational companies such as Siemens AG, Nuno Nobre founded in 2006 the NNC (Nuno Nobre Consultoria Lda), a specialized consulting company in gastronomy and tourism, currently represented Portugal and Spain. His work focuses mainly on cultural industries, gastronomy and travel, including research into the history of food, strategy and enhancement of identity, culinary culture and traditions and new trends for tourism.

Nuno collaborates directly with programs, universities and organizations worldwide to promote change, entrepreneurship and economic development of communities, cities and countries. In 2009 he was a member of the National Board of ANJE (National Association of Young Entrepreneurs) and CAV (Circle of Travel Agents and Tourism Professionals).

He has participated in projects in Russia, Morocco, Peru, Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Venezuela, Ireland, France, Turkey and other countries. He is a professor at the Lusófona University and is the creator and promoter of projects such as: Go Foodies, Sea Urchin International Festival, To the table with the Shale Villages, Wine in Azores, Endògenos, Platicemar, Fish Soup Festival, among others.

Nuno Nobre has the expertise to identify and create value in products, destinations and resources yet to be discovered. He needs to travel like the air he breathe because inspiration can come from where you least expect it. A committed gastronomer, he feels privileged to make the best of life his occupation.
